Port McNeill, B.C. - A member benefit feature: "Did you know?" In 1971 the Chamber business advocacy movement developed the first nationally based healthcare plan to address the needs of their members. "Affordable, competitive, and secure benefits" are the hallmarks of the Chamber of Commerce Group Plan, and plans are scaled to match the needs of small to midsize businesses.
Today, top employees demand a comprehensive health insurance plan. In fact, in a 2016 Canada health survey, 77% of respondents say they wouldn’t move to a job that didn’t include health benefits. By providing your employees financial protection as well as fast and easy claim reimbursement, you can find and attract the best employees. The Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan can offer you a truly flexible benefit solution based on what’s best for you and your employees.
The Chambers of Commerce Insurance Corporation of Canada (CCICC) oversees the Chambers Plan. The CCICC is a not-for-profit organization representing Plan participants across Canada, including both the Chambers of Commerce and Boards of Trade which offer the program, and the people insured under it. Participating Chambers appoint or elect directors to the board from each region of the country. One director from each region must be a paid Chamber of Commerce or Board of Trade employee, and the other must be a volunteer. Directors do not receive salaries. Through its directors, the CCICC works to ensure the Plan is appropriately marketed and administered, and the benefits available to members continue to meet their current needs.
More than 30,000 small to midsize businesses choose the Chambers Plan to protect their employees with comprehensive group benefits, including Health and Dental insurance, making it Canada’s #1 employee benefits plan for small business.
The Chambers Plan is the simple, stable, smart choice for business; combining accessibility, flexibility and the stability of pooled benefits. Firms choose the Chambers Plan year after year because it offers unsurpassed value and customer service.
