Port McNeill, B.C. Tuesday October 4th, 2022 - With Advance Polls opening this week, the PMCC will be closing out the All-Candidates Meeting process today, October 4th at 5:00pm. Thank you all for participating, and we hope you find the material useful in knowing your candidates better!
All remaining written answers received from candidates by 5:00pm today will be posted tonight. The Chamber is pleased at the great amount of interest and inquiry into the 2022 municipal election, thank both the public and candidates for your engagement.

A big thank you is due to the Chamber volunteers. Thanks to the All-Candidates Planning Committee for several weeks of advance organization, advertising, communication and setup, our moderator Eric Dutcyvich, timekeeper Jamuga Cook, Gord Oppen for venue support and audio/visual, and Community Futures Mount Waddington and Town of Port McNeill for providing chairs and the podium. Thanks to the North Island Gazette and North Island Eagle for advertising, promotion and reporting. Your work is exemplary. Thanks to Shana, Nicole and Nadine and the RDMW for posting the event on that great new electronic sign. Thanks to the community for all your social media shares and engagement. And thanks to the candidates for engaging in such a meaningful manner throughout.
Written Reply - The Running Rules:
Candidates were notified during the process of the opportunity to augment their in-person replies with written replies to the questions from the public. Candidates received the questions from the public September 27th in advance of the meeting. Candidates were notified by email that we are wrapping the summary of the meeting process today, closing out the process with the opening of advance polls.
